spinach lasagne



  • 400g spinach
  • 1 jar of white sauce (450g)
  • 50g butter
  • 200g ricotta cheese
  • 4 lasagne sheets
  • 100g parmesan (grated)


  1. wash the spinach
  2. add the butter & spinach into a pan; wilt the spinach
  3. once wilted, drain the liquid from the spinach
  4. preheat the oven to 190°C
  5. add the ricotta & 1/3 of the white sauce to the spinach and mix well
  6. layer the spinach mixture, white sauce, grated parmesan & lasagne sheets in a baking dish
  7. bake for 25 to 30 minutes or till golden at the top
  8. enjoy!!


i love spinach lasagne, i first had it in a cafe giardino (?? i’m not sure what the restaurant was called😅😅) and i loved it ever since. it’s an easy enough recipe, personally, our family loves parmesan, so i changed the ratios of the ingredients a little to suit our tastes😝😝 although the lasagne tastes really good, we don’t have it very often, because it’s not the healthiest of dishes👉👈…plus we use shop bought white sauce instead of homemade white sauce, and shop bought ones are very high in a lot of unhealthy ingredients😣😣

but once in a while doesn’t hurt!! …right??😅😅
